Trillion Trees is a joint venture between BirdLife International, Wildlife Conservation Society, and WWF, collectively working to speed up and scale up the protection and restoration of tropical forests for the benefit of people, nature, and the climate. Formapp is Trillion Trees’ tool for verifying the impact of our forest restoration projects.

About the Map

The map shows projects supported by the Trillion Trees ReForest Fund. The ReForest Fund provides funding for small-scale high quality forest restoration projects in biodiversity hotspots around the world. Since the ReForest Fund was established in 2021, it has supported 24 projects across 13 countries, collectively planting a total of 587,819 trees, restoring 821 hectares of forest, and directly benefitting 23,552 people! 

You can explore our work either by using the number bubbles on the map to navigate to projects in different parts of the world, or by selecting the “Explore” button on the left and searching for particular projects by landscape or country name. When you select a project, you can find information about the project’s background as well as specific details about its species, threats, activities, and the number of trees planted or hectares restored so far. Some of our projects are currently underway, while others are still seeking the funding needed in order to start their important work.
